Ancient Vikings
The Vikings were freely-organized groups of people in Denmark, Norway, and Sweden who shared a familiar economy of hunting, fishing, and prowling. Due to population strain, political pressure, and personal enhancement, the Vikings expanded out into the European regions from the British Isles, the Atlantic and North Sea shoreline of the Carolingian Empire.
The Vikings shaped the medieval period of the region between Russia and North America around 700-1050 A.D
